Welcome to the new Charity Symphony Orchestra website.
The orchestra has been performing successful symphonic concerts in its present form for the past 3 years.
There has been a charity orchestra operating in Southampton for over 5 years and members are commonly linked through their association with Southampton musical institutions such as the Southampton Youth Orchestra, City of Southampton Orchestra and the University of Southampton.
The orchestra's repertoire covers a wide range of music from Haydn to Tchaikovsky and also actively seeks to encourage and perform works by contemporary composers.
Primarily based in Southampton, the Charity Symphony Orchestra has also performed acclaimed concerts in Bristol, London and Cornwall and has helped raise thousands of pounds for numerous charities.
New members are always welcome, there is no prerequisite to play apart from wanting to make music and raise money for those who need it!
