For this special concert raIsing money for the Trust set up in memory of ex-Southampton Youth Orchestra member Kate Stokes, we welcome Keith Smith, the Youth Orchestra's condcutor for 25 years to conduct the Charity Symphony Orchestra.

2010 celebrates 150 years since the birth of Gustav Mahler. The orchestra pays tribute to the great composer and conductor with a performance of one of his earlier works.

On 17th December 2006 the Charity Symphony Orchestra had its first concert. It's time to party!

Yes, that's right, this concert falls on New Year's Day! It doesn't matter though, a full programme will will go online in plenty of time and music available to be sent out. There will hopefully be a brief rehearsal between the Christmas and New Year period so that everyone can have a good lie in on the day!
 
Join the Charity Symphony Orchestra for their annual New Year Concert. An evening of popular music to get the New Year off to a positive start. For this special New Year's Day concert the Church will be cleared of chairs to make room for plenty of Waltzing!
