An invitation from the Charity Symphony Orchestra

The Charity Symphony Orchestra would like to team up with as many venues, ensembles and musicians in Southampton as possible to celebrate the music of Benjamin Britten in November 2013.

We would like musicians and audiences from all backgrounds to be able to experience the full range of Britten's music. Over the course of six days and evenings there will be the chance to hold different types of events; workshops, concerts, recitals and talks.

In addition to celebrating the music of Britten this is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the musical talents of the people of Southampton and the surrounding area.

If your ensemble is interested in taking part or you manage a venue that could hold an event, please fill out the form below and we will be in contact as soon as possible to discuss the project further.

I hope that ensembles and musicians will be interested in the potential of such a large joint project. Together we can share resources, experience, finance and skills to produce a fantastic series of live events.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Craig Lawton
Chairman, Charity Symphony Orchestra
