expectations

With any partnership it's important that both sides know what is expected from them. In this scenario both parties are working to do justice to the charity that is being supported.

orchestra

  • Book and liaise with venue over logistics and payments (if the Orchestra is the booking agent)
  • Obtain necessary music
  • Fix the required players
  • Produce concert poster
  • Produce concert programme (if required)
  • Rehearse and deliver concert to the highest possible standard

charity/Fundraiser

both parties

  • Book and liaise with venue over logistics and payments (if the Charity is the booking agent)
  • Supply CharitySO with charity logo/images for posters and programmes
  • Information about charity for programme content
  • Offer representative to speak at concert
  • If viable; coordinate interval refreshments 
  • Promote as widely as possible (including social media, press contacts, charity website, etc)
  • Distribute posters and flyers
  • Offer volunteers to help at concert & rehearsal (eg. meet & greet, refreshments, tea/coffee)
